Bill and Chris, I agree with your critiques of Jen Hirsch. She is one to watch.
Matt,I,like you feel that Reed is more versatile than Taylor Hicks. I suspect that he will do quite well.

I dont disagree with Matt about Whitney Houston but I think his segment would have been more appropriate a few weeks or months from now.
We all know she was on drugs but right now everyone wants to mourn and celebrate the good things in her life.

I appreciate and understand fully how you feel. However, my biggest problem was with the Media, and their coverage to the event. I felt the need to respond now while their coverage was fresh in everyone's mind.

Who do you think could be a "star"?
I can see Jessica Sanchez being molded into a mini Beyonce. David Leathers and Deandre with the right material. I can see them trying to make Eben into a Justin Bieber. Shannon would be good for Disney. I can see Erika being molded into a Kelly Clarkson/Adele type and if Jen Hirsh got the right material, she could do good too. Her Jun would be a good comedian. Shelby, Chelsea, Skylar, Chase, Richie, and Baylie all have potential in the country world. Not sure about the rest. What do you think?

I hear they are going to eliminate half the top 24 in one week. How is that going to work with the contest?

Bill can clarify this, but I believe we are not going to do our Elimination picks for the listener contest until the Top 12. With so many getting axed next week it would be too much in terms of skewing the rest of the season's picks.

None of you guys have talked about the judges at all so far on the podcast. How do you think they have done so far?

Hey MammaSox! Let me say this about the judges this season -- I really have no opinion yet because we've gotten pretty much more of the same from last season so far. The real test for someone like Tyler will be during the live shows, where he completely fizzled out and said virtually nothing constructive.
